Thank you for an AMAZING holiday. We truly loved staying here and a big part of that was your phenomenal hospitality. I don’t know if we will ever lay in a hot tub, glass of wine in hand whilst an outdoor fire is being stoked for us! What an unforgettable experience this weekend has been. You are amazing people offering a very unique experience.

Many thanks for the use of your suite during our 3 day stay in Tofino. We very much enjoyed the comfort of the room and we especially loved the indulgence of your hot tub! Tofino is a most wonderful place. We recommend to anyone staying here to go with Mike White on a bear watching trip; he is a great naturalist with a super boat and easy going manner.
On a whale trip we got to see a grey whale and lots of seals having fun.Long Beach is ideal for an exhilarating walk. Again many thanks, John and Mary, Kimpton Herts, UK

What an amazing honeymoon we've had! The suite is fantastic - such a perfect, cozy, romantic space for getting away from our busy lives and just being with eachother. You two are such kind and easy-going hosts! Thanks for the cookies and the salmon- yum!

Humpbacks are here! Angela went for a walk on Chesterman Beach today and saw countless playful Humpbacks jumping joyfully out of the water one after another after another! It was beautiful. According to local whale watching companies these Humpback whales are said to be visiting from Hawaii. Humpback whales are typically some of the most acrobatic and playful whales. What a treat to see them in action!

And now the air is crisp, the hot tub is HOT, the leaves are starting to change colours and a new year of school has begun. There's still lots of sun, whales and surf to be enjoyed!

Spring in Tofino is always beautiful. The annual migration of travellers has already begun and we are meeting our first waves of guests seeking Affinity Guesthouse hospitality. We are just far enough off Main St. to enjoy a bit of tranquility, and close enough to walk to anything. Angela and I put the finishing touches on our new sign today. Angela and I had a wonderful night sitting by the outdoor fire with them discussing the finer points of a hot German breakfast. Last night really confirmed what we already knew.... we love to spoil our guests! Fresh baked cookies and a candle lit hot tub, life is good! |
