It is beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

As a result of the orders of the BC Public Health Officer to deal with the COVID-19 Pandemic, we have taken the necessary but regrettable decision to cancel the 2020 events season at Affinity Guesthouse.

This is the reality that we are facing along with virtually all businesses and services in the hospitality sector in British Columbia. We are proceeding as follows:

  • First, we want to thank all of the folk that have contributed to making Affinity Guesthouse one of the premier events venues in the Cowichan Valley. Nicole Bond and her team created something very special and it is with great regret that is has been necessary to shut it down.
  • Second, for those who have scheduled events this year, we will do our best to refund any deposits by the end of May.
  • Third, we are developing a Business Continuity Plan to consider what role events hosting will play in the future of Affinity. As this plan develops we will be providing updates to our Facebook page and this site.

Any questions directly related to refunds should be directed to Tanner Elton at elton.tanner@gmail.com. Again, We wish to offer you our deepest apologies. This was a very difficult decision to make and one which was not taken lightly.

Yours Sincerely,

Tanner Elton,
Owner, Affinity Farms Guesthouse and Nature Sanctuary
